We are one week from vacation. One week from getting to stay home with you and soak in every minute of it. You are doing great at daycare and every day when I pick you up, you flash that golden smile at me, it makes my entire day. You had a tummy time competition this week against Ryder, who is the same age, and you won! No surprise, you have been strong since day 1. You basically came out holding your head up.
You are rolling more frequently but still prefer to just play on your back. Solid foods are still new and you haven’t loved any of the veggies we’ve tried yet, but at least you keep trying! We drove to RI this week to visit your great grandmother, she was thrilled to see you and I am pretty sure she would keep you if she could. We even met up with friends after at a brewery and even though you were tired you were a trooper, smiling and making friends with everyone.
I’m pretty sure you are getting another cold, but hopefully we can fend it off. Even when you are sick you are still happy. I tell everyone I would rather have a happy baby then one who sleeps, and that is for sure you little lady. You are still in your bassinet, waking up every few hours, sometimes you go for about 4 hours which is wonderful.
I love hearing your giggle. I love your morning snuggles. I love watching you stretch for toys as far as you possibly can. I love playing peek-a-boo. I love singing wheels on the bus. I love reading books to you and watching you grab the pages and stare at all the pictures. I love these memories we are making every day.
I love you, sweet girl.
