“You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.”

One of my favorite ways to escape this crazy life is through a good book, fiction or non-fiction, I’ll take either. I have been struggling lately to find time to read, between work and being exhausted by the time I get into bed at the end of the day, reading has definitely fallen to the back burner. Last weekend, however, I picked up a book I had started a little while ago and got lost in it, I forgot how good it felt to get sucked into another world. I read for an entire night and then went to bed not being able to sleep, just thinking about the book, so I woke up early and finished the last 100 pages.

Books allow us to gain different points of view, they allow us to get lost in a different time and place, they allow us to forget just for a brief time what we have going on and provide characters that are relatable or fascinating enough to distract us from what is in our own head. Books provide creativity, ideas, dreams and hope.

If you are looking for a great book to get lost in I give 5 stars to Me Before You by JoJo Moyes
