Last Saturday it was gorgeous out, we decided early on in the week that we were going to take advantage of it and go somewhere we could be outside. Last fall we came across this little town called Great Barrington. It is an adorable town, very colorful but not a whole lot to do. It is located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. We walked the streets and occasionally popped into a few stores. They have a used book store called Yellow House Books, it is adorable. We also stopped in their music store, I wont lie I rarely go into music stores because I buy almost everything online. It was kind of refreshing to go in though! I even bought a record! We also bought James Taylors greatest hits. After walking around we decided to try the neighborhood diner for lunch. The food was delicious, I had an omelet and their homefries were so good. As we ate lunch we talked about how lucky we are and some plans we have for the future. It was just what I needed, a day away from school work and away from all of my electronics. On our way out we were both exhausted from lack of sleep the night before, so we swung into a local coffee shop called fuel, I loved it inside!! There coffee was also fabulous.
Those were just a few of the snapshots I took as we walked around. Next time I am determined to get Aaron into the SoCo creamery for ice cream!
